Staret Lady Liberty Torch Patriotic WW2 Vintage Figural Pin Brooch - Original 1940s.  This is the guaranteed original Staret not to be confused with the bigger well-made 1970s remake.  The original almost always has reddish and purple stones versus blue or a mix, has more compact flames, has shorter painted finger nails, is about an 1/8 inch smaller and a double row of rhinestones on her sleeve cuff.  I have both and they are fairly similar until you see them togetther. Please see picture of the two side-by-side.  Unfortunately several reputable jewelry reference books showcase the "remake" as an original and collectors (like me TWICE) have been fooled. The remake is worth about $500.00 if in perfect condition and much easier to find.  This original Staret Lady Liberty torch measures just under 4 1/4 inches long and is in excellent vintage condition.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.  Absolutely beautiful 1940s example of American patriotic jewelry.
