Sonia Lee Sterling Water Carrier Vintage Figural Brooch & Earring Set.  Rare and collectible. This Sonia Lee set was manufactured in the mid-40s. Marked both Sonia Lee and Sterling, this rose gold vermeil set is in very good to excellent condition.  The water carrier measures 2 1/4 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches wide.  The earrings are both marked sterling, are screw closure and measure 3/4 inches across. The vermeil is in excellent condition with little tarnish. The stones, with one appropriate date and quality replacement exception, are original and present, bright and shining. Qualified as an American Vintage Designer Collectible, Rhode Island, 1940s. The few pieces that exist have an Asian theme, are bright, well-made and use the best quality materials. The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
