Silson YWCA Patriotic WW2 Vintage Costume Figural Pin Brooch.  Brooch dates to early 1940s as a tribute to the Young Women's Christian Association and their training programs for the Women of the United States to "pick up the tools laid down by our fighting men".  Brooch is accented by blue and white enamel on a gold tone and white enamel bow.  The brooch measures 1 3/4 inches wide by 2 inches tall and in good vintage condition.  The pin back is straight and strong, the rollover clasp locks securely.
