Fort Apache Movie-Tie-In American Indian Couple Vintage Figural Brooch Set.  In excellent vintage condition, this American Indian Couple was created as Movie-Tie-In pieces to the John Ford movie starring John Wayne and Henry Fonda Fort Apache released in 1948.  The Indian Brave measures 2 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide.  The Indian Mother measures 2 1/2 inches tall by just under 1 1/2 inches wide.  Extremely detailed these pot metal figurals feature bright and colorful enamel accents.  Both pieces were purchased as part of a large Movie-Tie-In Figural collection and were marked as made by Coro for John Ford/Fort Apache.   The pin backs are straight and strong, the clasps lock securely.
