Catalano Biggest Best Flashiest Fantasy Fish Vintage Figural Brooch.  In excellent vintage condition, this John Catalano high-end monster of a brooch measures 6 3/4 inches tall by just over 4 1/2 inches wide - it is not lightweight.  The stones are original and a mix of different shaped crystal rhinestones, transparent poured glass cabs and pave AB aqua and clear rhinestones. The gold-tone soldered frame is well-designed and well-made and features strengthened gold-wire frames for the glass cabs. There are two versions of this brooch. This is the closed fin and stronger version.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely. Price is firm.
