Braunstein Ruby & Green Jade Gold Plated Floral Framed Necklace & Bracelet Set. In very good to excellent vintage condition, this substantial and gorgeous 1950s Braunstein necklace and bracelet set is very rare and was largely attributed to Selro/Selini and Florenza among other high-end jewelry designers. This excellent set was sold in a limited edition in both Wanamaker's and Gimbels and may at one time have had a paper tag according to the original owner. The necklace just over 17 inches long, the bracelet measures just under 8 inches long and 1 inch tall. The bracelet has 7 heavily plated sections with 4 deep ruby cabochons accented with faux jade center stones. The necklace has floral etched findings with 11 deep ruby cabs and 2 faux jade stones. The heavily plated back pieces are smooth and have some wear on both pieces. Both the necklace and the bracelet are comfortable to wear. The bracelet closes with a slide clasp, the necklace closes with a fold-over clasp on a lovely sectioned chain.
