Reinad Blue Crabby Flamingo American Costume Vintage Figural Pin Brooch.  Dating to the 1940s, a piece of mass-manufactured tourist jewelry measuring 3 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/4 inches wide.  Purchased in a large lot of estate Bauman Massa brooches, not sure of the manufacturing attribution of this piece as I've seen so many versions of this and the signed BM pieces are relatively rare.  These flamingos have been generally attributed to Chanel/Reinad Novelty Jewelry Co. In very good to excellent vintage condition, the stones, enamel and plate are bright and shining.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
