Art Deco Peacock Ruby Navette Tail Feathers Vintage Figural Pin Brooch - this book piece brooch is made in many variations - the body is always the same with different colors of enamel, the rhinestone tail feathers come in many configurations. These brooches are becoming hard to find.  Measuring 2 1/4 by 2 1/4 and manufactured in the early 40s, the pin is in excellent vintage condition - rhodium is bright on the front and back. The foil back navettes are perfect. Gorgeous unsigned peacock brooch. The pin back is straight and strong, the mechanism closes securely. These peacock brooches have recently been attributed to Reinad/Chanel Novelty Brooches.
