Trifari Sasha & Tasha Reproduction Russian Dancer Vintage Brooch Set. Nice and bright, a excellent and faithful reproduction pair of Trifari's famous sterling A Philippe dancers. The gold plate and icy clear rhinestones are original and intact.  The male dancer measures 1 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide. The female dancer measures 1 1/2 inches tall by just over 1 1/4 inches wide.  They appear to be manufactured in the late 50s. The pin backs are straight and strong, the clasps lock securely.

To tell if you are looking at the real Trifari Russian Dancers, the hats both wear consist of a roughly shaped rectangular stone (see example below), have pearl faces, rhinestone bodices, they are not articulated and are sterling vermeil.  Anything else is a repro, many of which are unique and interesting on their own. These are blatant repros - always preferable.
