Schiaparelli Acrobat Monkey Circus Balloons 1938 Vintage Figural Brooch.  In very good vintage condition, this piece designed by Jean Schlumberger for Schiaparelli measures 2 1/4 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide.  The old gold-tone piece features a brown and tan monkey holding 4 bright circus balloons and a black tip bowl. The older C clasp pin opens and closes smoothly and holds securely. A wonderful and collectible Schiaparelli Circus Series piece, very hard to find.  This unsigned piece matches the unsigned 1938 Schlumberger Triple Jester Circus dress clip brooch - pictured below as a comparison example only.
