Patriotic Spirit of 1776 Yankee Doodle Pot Metal Vintage Figural Brooch. In excellent vintage condition, this is a brightly enameled 1940s patriotic brooch measuring 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall.  The brooch is highly detailed, well designed and a faithful version of Archibald Willard's Spirit of '76 1912 oil painting representing American drummers and a fife.  In collectible condition, this is a rare and desirable piece of American costume jewelry.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
