KJL Kenneth J Lane Gold Plated Monkey Vintage Figural Brooch. This rare and signed Kenneth Lane monkey is featured in his book Faking It. The mid-Century monkey is dated to the late 1960s and is in excellent vintage condition. The gold plate, clear rhinestones, coral-colored eyes and dangling accents are bright and original. The monkey measures 2 1/2 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide. There are two differing versions of this monkey - this is the larger of the two. The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
