Jolle Hess-Appel Bee Hive Skep Sterling Vintage Figural Costume Brooch.  In excellent vintage condition, this substantial brooch measures 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide.  The sterling is tarnished. Piece has not been polished.  The honey-yellow rhinestones are various shades of amber and yellow.  The Bee is large and accented with green and honey-yellow wings.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
