Hollycraft Christmas White Opal Candle Tree Figural brooch and matching earrings set. Gorgeous Hollycraft set created in the late 50's. The tree has six opaque candles and 8 opalized aurora borealis stones with a large faux opal center accent. The flames of the candles are ABs - all stones are present, original and bright. The tree reacts dramatically according to the background color of apparel or room lighting. The white metal work is in excellent vintage condition on the trees and both clasp earrings. The tree measures 2 1/4 inches tall - the earrings are 1 1/8 inch each. This Hollycraft Demi is in most of the Christmas and Holiday Jewelry Reference books and is highly collectible. The pin back is straight and strong with some missing enamel. The clasp locks securely. The earrings are clasp type, open and close smoothly and hold securely. My last set in white.
