HAR Genie Fortune Teller Fantasy Aladdin Wearable Art Vintage Bracelet dates to 1958 and 1959. This gorgeous HAR bracelet consists of 4 gold-tone sections featuring a Fortune Telling Genie with his sapphire star crystal ball, a Taj Mahal style palace worthy of the Arabian Nights tales, a crystal magic lantern with a smokey rising Genie and a gorgeous blood red dragon's breath oval cabochon matching the sparkling round dragon's blood stone on the Genie's turban. The ruby AB stones are shining, the clear and deep sapphire blue rhinestones are present and bright, the metal is bright, all enamel is present and shining, the clasp locks tightly and maybe best of all - you can actually wear this piece of art as it fits nicely and comfortably on your wrist due to it's wide curved sectional links and a strong safety chain. The bracelet measures just under 7 1/2 wearable inches counting the closed clasp. A gorgeous and desirable piece of art from the late 1950s.  See the PBS Antiques Roadshow video piece on this bracelet from 2016 below.

HAR appears to have been opened as Hargo Creations; manufacturing in New York in the mid-50's. Pieces marked HAR appeared in high-end department stores in the mid 50s with no advertising fanfare or announcement and equally, with no announcement, disappeared in the mid '60s - seemingly last sold new before 1966. HAR created highly stylized and intricate fantasy costume jewelry and was/is highly sought as both wearable and collectible.  All that is really verified with written records appears as Joseph Heibronner and Edith Levitt created Hargo sometime in the mid-50's and used both Hargo and Har markings (information attributed to the Brunailti's excellent research).  Much, however, can be speculated regarding close design and manufacturing ties to CFW and ART.
