Bauman Massa Jomaz Bellhop Suitcase Lady Fur Clip Vintage Figural Brooch.  In excellent vintage original condition, this is a signed 1930s BM Suitcase Lady Bellhop brooch measuring 2 inches tall by just under 1 1/2 inches wide.  The rhinestones, accent red & green suitcase stones, enamel and plate are very good - original, bright and shining.  The fur clip closure pins are straight and strong, opens and closes smoothly and holds securely. Nice brooch and getting hard to find in the original condition with the original stones. These brooches were manufactured by Bauman Massa from an alleged Jomaz design.

Bauman Massa served as a manufacturer for many of the better high-end designers - DuJay, Jomaz/Mazer, Reja/Deja, DeRosa and for several Hollywood Movie Directors in the 1930s and 1940s.  It is relatively rare to find pieces signed BM as most pieces were designed to be sold with either a paper tag or the designer's signatory cartouche.
