Bauman Massa BM Reinad Ostrich Bird Vintage Costume Figural Pin Brooch.  A nice unsigned book piece ostrich manufactured by Bauman Massa and believe commissioned for Chanel Reinad Novelty Jewelry Co.  An extraordinarily nice facet-cut ruby-color glass stone accents the back of a gold-plate blue-eyed ostrich.  The piece is substantial and measures 3 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide and in very good vintage condition.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
