Coro Peacock Sapphire Tail Feathers Vintage Figural Pin Brooch - this signed Coro book piece brooch is made in many variations - the body is always the same with the exception of rhodium or enamel, the rhinestone tail feathers come in many configurations. These brooches are becoming hard to find.  Measuring 2 1/2 wide by 2 1/4 tall and manufactured in the early 40s, the pin is in excellent vintage condition - rhodium and enamel are bright on the front and back. The foil back sapphire rhinestones are perfect. Gorgeous peacock brooch. The pin back is straight and strong, the mechanism closes securely. These peacock brooches have recently been attributed to Reinad/Chanel Novelty Brooches, this piece is signed Coro.
