American Flag Sailors Rowboat Patriotic WW2 Vintage Figural Brooch.  1930s In very good vintage condition.  A weighty piece measuring just over 2 1/2 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide. Cannot identify designer or manufacturer; no reference in the Sweetheart or WW2 Costume Jewelry Reference Books. This is a multi-dimensional piece - 3 separate pieces, the sailors are soldered to the back panel, the paddles are soldered into the sailor's hands, the sailors and paddles along with the back piece are soldered into the rowboat with two additional safety rivets.  The enamel on the sailors and the American flag is in good condition, the pot metal and gold tone plate are good. The pin back has a slight downward bend but strong, the clasp locks securely.  The piece was dated to the early 1940s by the metal and clasp setting and appears to be one-of-a-kind.
