Juliana | DeLizza & Elster

Founded in the late 40's - D&E manufactured high-end costume jewelry until the late 80's.  Since they never signed their pieces, and usually sold with only a hang-tag - it's easy to not be sure if a piece is Juliana or not.  The pieces I sell have at least 5 of the 7 characteristics of true Juliana (D&E) pins and brooches.  One of the quickest ways to tell if a piece is Juliana or not is the mixture of styles on the back of the pins. You'll usually see dimensionality, foiled stones, closed back stones, open back stones, blobs of solder and, a true D&E trademark - open rivets - called eyelets - and this is all on one piece.
