Art Deco Cowboy on Fence Vintage Figural Pin Brooch. Made out of a copper pot metal mixture dating to the early 1940s. His enamel is excellent and front plating is intact. The brooch back plating is good. A substantial and beautiful piece of costume jewelry measuring 2 3/4 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches tall. The pin is straight and the lock mechanism locks tight. This piece is part of a set called Celebration of the West and consists of Cowboy and American West pot metal pins including chickens, windmills, cowboys and Indians, horses, etc. Rare to find the cowboy with his original paint mostly intact. These pins were created in 1942 and after during gas rationing as sight seeing was prohibited.
