Manufactured 1938 during World War 2 - this large and beautifully detailed Sweetheart brooch measures 2 inches tall by 1 5/8ths inches wide. In excellent vintage condition, the rhinestones, RWB enamel and the gold-tone plated pot metal are bright and shining. All stones are original, no retouches. The scroll means "Out of Many, One" - the motto of the United States. The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.
