Mary Lamb Pot Metal Nursery Rhyme Vintage Figural Costume Brooch. Dating to the early 1920s and large, measuring 2 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide. A rare and desirable collection find and in very good vintage condition featuring bright enamel with minor nicks. A substantial brooch made from pot metal was released for sale shortly after WW1. There was a matching Red Riding Hood brooch and a Jack and Jill with a movable pail. This Mary and her lamb is a lovely well-made piece. The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp is an early example and opens and closes securely.
