Coro Sparrows Duette A Katz Sterling Vintage Figural Fur Clip Brooch Set. In very good vintage condition, this duette dates to 1942.  There is some enamel and vermeil wear on the front and backs of each fur clip.  The Duette frame is bright and strong, the pin is straight and the clasp locks securely.  The Sparrows measure 1 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide.  Each fur clip opens and closes smoothly and holds securely. The duette assembled measures just under 3 inches wide. Purchased from Ripley as part of the Yankauer collection, this would be an excellent duette for restoration consideration.
