Coro Biplane & Parachute Pilot Marion Weeber Patriotic Vintage Figural ChatelaineCoro
Coro Biplane & Parachute Pilot Marion Weeber designed Patriotic Vintage Figural Chatelaine manufactured in 1940. The two connected brooches are in very good vintage red, white and blue condition. The propeller spins freely. The chain, enamel and stones are all bright and original. The plane measures 1 3/4 inches to tail, the parachute measures just under 1 3/4 inches tall. Both pin backs are straight and strong, the clasps lock securely. Very nice WW2 collectible or patriotic wear. Marion Weeber, who owned her own design firm, did 5 patriotic pieces for Coro during 1940 and 1941. Two are different versions of the plane and parachute. The Design number is DES 124,125 and shows the chatelaine from several different angles.
