Silson Patriotic Minuteman Powder Horn Ship Vintage Costume Figural Pin Brooch - in excellent vintage condition.  A wonderful and highly detailed American patriotic piece measuring at a substantial 4 1/4 inches and accented by two dangling charms - a powder horn and a sailing ship.  V. Silson received the patent on December 24, 1940. Des 124,276. This Silson piece is never signed and was made in several different versions - see attached Patent Information.  The pin back is straight and strong, the clasp locks securely.  Rare and desirable patriotic piece.
