1946 California Gold Rush Chatelaine Red Rider Movie Tie In Vintage Figural Brooch Set. In very good vintage condition, both the Red Rider based Mule and Miner are detailed and bright and date to 1947. The single chain acts as the mule's lead and is 2 inches long. The mule is 1 7/8s inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide; the miner measures 1 1/4 inches wide by 2 inches tall. The pin backs are straight and strong, the clasps hold securely. I believe the set was created by Fred Block as he frequently accepted smaller Hollywood commissions.
